| 内容記述 | Rotating bending, high cycle fatigue tests under constant and two-step variable amplitude loading were conducted on high hardness steels, SNCM439 and YXR7, in ultra-high cycle regime. Fatigue lives of both materials were found to reveal a step-wise S-N curve, which tended to come down again in the long life region above 107 cycles. Some specimens of SNCM439 were ruptured by internal fracture mode at very high cycle fatigue regime around 108 cycles, while other specimens fractured by surface fracture mode. On the other hand, internal fracture mode due to a non-metallic inclusion only appeared on YXR7 specimens irrespective of fatigue lives. Load variation effects were investigated on SNCM439, and reported that high level loading may affect fatigue damage when it was loaded before low level loading or when two-step loading was frequently repeated in a short interval. | |||||
