using 266-nm laser flash photolysis technique in the presence of cyclodextrins (CDs)in water solution.Ionization of CA within the laser flash (5 ns)produced a water solvated electron.The electron was generated by two-photon excitation by means of simultaneous irradiation from a266-nm laser, and the ionization quantum yields of CA in the presence of α-CD, β-CD and γ-CD depended on the properties of the complexes with CDs.These behaviors suggest that the useful two-photon ionization results from the complexes of CA and α-CD, β-CD and γ-CD, respectively.Ionization quantum yield of CA in the presence of CDs (1.0 ×10-2 mol dm-3)is dependent on the fluorescence lifetimes(τ).In addition, in the same way, ionization quantum yield of CA in the presence of CDs (1.0×10-3 mol dm-3)is dependent on
