内容記述 | Penetration of stainless steel TIG veld vas evaluated by parameters such as penetration depth(d), bead width(W) and ratio(d/W) and also by plotting of melting efficiency(Z_m) and melting area(S_B), and influence of shielding gas components and electrode vertex angle on these relations vas assessed. As a result, it vas made clear that the relation between Z_m or S_B and parameters such as d, W and d/W ratio can be expressed by nonlinear exponential function, that the extent of penetration can be predicted from the values of Z_m and S_B, and that this is a very useful and significant method for evaluation of the penetration of the weld. In such case, the relationship between Z_m or S_B and the parameters of penetration is influenced by shielding gas components and vertex angle of electrode, and the influence is particularly prominent in case Pe≧1O. I t is considered that heat transfer in molten pool is a field where heat conduction and convection coexist. The solution of dominant equation in such case is expressed by the exponential function similar to temperature distribution equation of heat conduction, and the relationship between Z_m or S_B and parameters such as d, W and d/W ratio is expressed by exponential function, and this can be explained by the fact that it exhibits temperature distribution at melting point of the weld including fluid flow field. | |||||
