| 内容記述 | Substituted polyacetylenes are composed of alternating carbon-carbon double bonds along the main chain and various side groups, and exhibit interesting properties and functions such as various colors, photoconductivity, photoluminescence and electroluminescence. The present study deals with the measurements of UV-visible absorption and fluorescence spectra of six substituted polyacetylene samples aiming at elucidating the effects of side groups on UV-visible absorption and fluorescence. The present study has revealed the following three points: 1) a Si-containing poly(diphenylacetylene) showed strong absorption and fluorescence, 2) poly[1-(trimethylsilyl)-1-propyne] hardly showed absorption and emission in the UV region, and 3) polymers of monosubstituted acetylenes displayed strong absorptions but almost no emissions. | |||||
