| 内容記述 | When Mr. Kan Kikuchi was 33 years old, he published his lengthy novel Shinjiu Fujin (Pearl Lady), which is certainly a very important mile stone in his novels writing career. At the time when Shinjiu Fujin was published, it was still generally considered that women remained weaker than men, although the Taisyou democracy began to play an important role in people's life. However, Mr. Kan Kikuchi, a famous human right fighter, claimed the heroine Liulizi in his novel as a new woman who has her own dignity, independence and freedom. This article focused on analyzing the new images of Japanese women in Shinjiu Fujin. | |||||
