| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to develop a procedure for estimating the total phosphorus concentration of highly eutrophic lakes from multispectral satellite images. The test site is Lake Kitagata which is a brackish, eutrophic lake and has high chlorophyll-a concentration. The correlation coefficients between total phosphorus concentration and chlorophyll-a concentration (field survey data provided by Fukui Prefectural Institute of Public Health and Environmental Science) have been calculated to obtain the procedure for estimating total phosphorus concentration. The preliminary results indicate that the correlation coefficients between them in the water area with high chlorophyll-a concentration, are very high. It is, therefore, possible to obtain the total phosphorus concentration from chlorophyll-a concentration which can be obtained using multi-spectral satellite images. | |||||
