| 内容記述 | This study aimed to consider the direction of safety management education by investigating the actual situation of safety management education for our students, together with its effects. A written questionnaire survey was conducted among 100 students (age range: from 18 to 20 years, valid response rate: 99.0%). The survey demonstrated that rate of students who have never received first aid lectures on automated external defibrillation (AED), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) was 10.1%, 28.3%, and 81.8%, respectively. The rate that students responded that they “could not" execute AED, CPR, and RICE was 29.3%, 53.5%, and 84.8%, respectively. This study suggests that it might be necessary to encourage college students to actively participate in relevant training sessions or enhance current teaching practices. | |||||
