| 内容記述 | Yoshie Kobayashi (1743-1821) was born in the fiefdom of Hikone at the Edo period. In his youth he studied Japanese poetry and Kokugaku, of which word means the study of Japanese classical literature. In middle years of his life he was entrusted the investigation of fishes in Lake Biwa by the feudal lord Naonaka li and he wrote the report on that investigation. In his later years he wrote the report on the historical ecological life of bird animal insect fishes grass and trees, those which was included in Manyoushu. When he wrote these books, he used to reference Honzoukoumoku which had description of animals and plants, imported from China at 17 century. | |||||
