| 内容記述 | This paper describes a method to recognize a character handwritten in the air. This recognition method uses the motion direction instead of positions of the device. It also doesn't use the information of pen up and down. It selects and orders character candidates with DP (dynamic programming) matching. We prototyped an application software that recognize a character by using mouse movements in order to study algorithm and usability. In this time, we added categories of Alphabet character. We achieved correct recognition rate about 90% for categories of Hiragana and Alphabet characters by using two-dimensional moving direction. | |||||
