内容記述 | As a fundamental study to prevent an accident by the hydrogen embrittlement of stainless steels, we have analyzed hydrogen in the cathodically polarized specimen of SUS316L stainless steel. The concentration of hydrogen charged by cathodic polarization was proportional to the polarization time. This indicates that the rate-determining process in the entry of hydrogen into SUS316L stainless steel caused by cathodic polarization is the electric discharge reaction of hydrogen ions. In the thermal spectra of hydrogen desorption, the large hydrogen evolution peak was observed at low temperature around 40℃. This indicates that the most of dissolved hydrogen are unstable around room temperature. And X-ray diffraction pattern was measured for the specimen charged with hydrogen. By cathodic polarization, the integral intensity of X-ray diffraction peaks of γ phase decreased greatly in comparison with that of α phase, and X-ray diffraction peaks of the hydrogen-induced martensite phase (εH) appeared. These results indicate that theεH phase is formed from the γ phase. | |||||
