Moreover, the improvement of thermal efficiency can be expected by promoting combustion because the BDF contains oxygen in the composition. That is, the BDF contributes to the decrease in CO2 concentration in the atmosphere because it is a carbon neutral fuel, and the exhaust gas emission is reduced with improving thermal efficiency by the use. However, NOX emission increases though the generation of PM is controlled by the content oxygen when the BDF is used.
