The 8 physical fitness tests (grip strength, sit-ups, sit and reach, side-stepping, 20-m shuttle run, 50-m run, standing broad jump, and handball throwing) made up by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology were selected to measure physical fitness of subjects. %BF showed significant correlations with tests of sit-ups, 20-m shuttle run, a 50-m run, and standing broad jump and the total score (|r|=0.35~0.50、p<0.05). Muscle mass of trunk partshowed significant correlations with all tests except for 20-m shuttle run (|r|=0.30~0.70、p<0.05). In conclusion, it is inferred that the %BF affects motor ability tests with large body movement such as running and jumping.
