Authors have proposed the dynamical model of step climbing mechanism, and derived the epuation with respect to the equation with respect to the force needed for climbing a step. In addition, suthors manufactured a multi-function wheelchair equipped with power unit, step-climbing mechanism and chair-elevating mechanism.
