Particle is assumed small in size and spherical in shape. Stokes drag law is used as the interaction force between a particle and fluid. Single particle which starts from the origin at an upward initial velocity under the uniform flow is studied theoretically. As a result, a particle does not move so far in the direction upward to the flow in spite of the initial velocity.
