The current study investigated the efficacy of three textual enhancement(TE) techniques at drawing N=168 Japanese university students' awareness to the desired language feature, the first step towards noticing. Results indicated that contrary to predictions, participants were only moderately able to identify the target of instruction (47.6%; 74.4%;58.3%, respectively). These results carry significant implications for not only language teachers, but for SLA researchers who have thus far been baffled as to why TE research has often yielded conflicting results.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"福井工業大学"}]},"item_10002_relation_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"TF10133428","subitem_relation_type_select":"NCID"}}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Bradford, J.
