The Yoriki and Ashigaru lived in five towns through the Edo era. The three towns of Shihiguchi-Ikadacho, Okagocho, and Nishi-Ohatacho had Tradesman’s land, Temples, and Samurai residences. The residence of the Matsuoka clan was in located Okobitocho from the Shoho2 year to the kyouho6 year. At the Jizomachi-guchi, there were three towns, Jizomachi, Okumachi, and Soto-Jizomachi. The three towns were also residential areas for lower Samurai such as Yoriki and Ashigaru.
