The questionnaire was conducted for 5,033 parents of elementary school students, and received 4,646 responses (response rate 92.3%). Among them, we analyzed 395 children who answered that they had no exercise habits (0 times a month) during the period before school closure. 227 children (57.5%) were inactive during the period of school closure. Of these, 63 children (about 37.5%) continued to exercise even after the school closure was lifted.
