| 内容記述 | For the second consecutive year, we conducted a survey of participants in the “Walking Sports Day,” an event organized as part of a policy initiative to address the growing prevalence of dementia among older adults and to promote healthy longevity. The event attracted a relatively young demographic, with a higher proportion of female participants and a notable number of attendees from outside the town. Most respondents reported enjoying the event; however, more than 10% indicated that they did not consciously engage in regular walking. When asked about their purpose for walking, participants most frequently cited maintaining physical fitness and strengthening the legs and lower back—both of which ranked above preventing or managing hypertension. Among repeat participants, the five-year outlook was generally positive. | |||||||
