Two types of periodic structure of ferrite strip line were proposed. One is the ferrite stripline which is alternatively arranged with the microstrip line on dielectric substrate. Other is the ferrite microstrip line loaded with periodically shorted stub. Brillouin diagrams of their lines were calculated using microwave network approach. Stopband phenomenon due to Bragg reflection of the lines was experimentally demonstrated.
