At the time of a disaster, the water supply is cut off and living water such as toilet washing water is short. As a result, the sanitary condition of the evacuation shelter will be poor. The rainwater utilization in an evacuation facility is one way to solve such problems. By installing a rainwater storage tank about 10 m3 in a school gymnasium, evacuees can flush toilet once or twice a day.
