The flood damage in an underground center has become serious, and development of a city type flood mitigation system is needed in urban areas. In this research, the city type flood mitigation system using the rainwater harvesting system which we proposed was estimated. This system drains the rainwater in a rainwater storage tank in advance based on the information on forecast of localized torrential rain. Outflow control of the heavy rain by the rainwater storage tank is performed efficiently, and can make the effect of the system maximize by this system. Computer simulation evaluation of this system in Fukui-shi, Fukui was performed.
